Bucket hat knitting pattern. Luscious organic cotton yarn was used for this project. The hat is knit, although I designed it to have a “crochet” look. It is a knit version of the granny square bucket hat trending right now. It was knit in three parts: 1) the body of the hat 2) the brim & lastly 3) the crown. The brim can be worn either folded up or down for more of a “cloche” look.

This project knits up quickly. Lace knitting (knitting, purling, yo’s, p2tog’s, ssk’s). The lace is sooooooo fun to knit! Knitted both flat and in the round. Picking up stitches. Seaming.

Two sizes. Designed to fit the average woman’s head size and the average child’s head size. Model has a 22” head size. The smaller hat was designed to fit a 20” head.

Yarn is somewhat stretchy.
