Lace Card Holder
These crochet lace pouches are gorgeous and multi-purpose!
Although they were originally designed as a business card holder, they can be used for so much more:
-
they are a beautiful way to give a gift card this Holiday season
-
they can hold all those bonus cards you only need at certain places
-
they can hold your credit or debit cards so your wallet doesn’t fill up
-
they’re also great in your purse for keeping your lip balms in one place
-
and, of course, when you present someone with your business card they add a little extra something
Skill level: Intermediate - The stitches used are simple stitches, but I designate this intermediate only because of the fine thread and lace work.
Stitches used: magic ring, chain, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, triple crochet, sc2tog, and sc3tog (standard American terms)
Gauge information is given in the pattern.
You will need:
-
size 10 crochet thread (I used Anchor Aida 10, which is 265m/289 yds per ball - You’ll need much less than a full ball)
-
a 2mm crochet hook
-
a 0.5” button
-
a needle to sew in the ends and sew on the button
