Lace Cardigan
Lace is a feminine cardigan with a loose fit.
Work the cardigan with single stranded yarn.
The back and front are worked bottom up, flat in one piece on circular needles, until sleeve separation. Sleeves are worked in the round on dpns (or circular needle) and the sleeves, back and front pieces are gathered for the raglan yoke. The cardigan is designed to be worn open.
Sizes:
S/M: 36-40” bust (L/XL: 42-46” bust) XXL/XXXL: 48-50” bust.
Finished bust measurements: approximately 101(111)121 cm / 40(44)46” including the front rib panels.
Length:
approximately 54(56)58 cm / 21(22)23”
Upper arm sleeve circumference: 39(44)49 cm / 15(17)19”
When choosing the right size take into consideration:
The Lace Cardigan is only available in the mentioned three sizes due to the lace pattern. Each pattern size covers multiple garment sizes and therefor there are significant jumps in bust, raglan depth and upper arm sleeve circumference measurements between sizes.
If your body measurements lie between two sizes and you want a tighter fit, choose the smaller size and add sts (in increments of 4 sts e.g. 4/8/12 sts) to the front rib panels to achieve the appropriate bust circumference.
