Lace Dipped Shawl
This shawl has it all! Designed to be fun and accessible for beginners to lace or shawl knitting, but still interesting for more advanced knitters, it has a unique but easy construction that results in intersecting lines of stitch patterns and colours. It is simple to adjust for size or amount of yarn, and gives you a chance to show off that fun skein hiding in your stash with a pop of colour at each end! Without a single purl stitch in sight, this pattern will fly off your needles.
Yarn
Fingering weight yarn in MC (500 yards/430 metres), CC1 (325 yards/297 metres), and CC2 (315 yards/283 metres)
Note: The MC colour in this pattern uses a little bit more yardage than is in a typical fingering weight skein. If you don’t have enough yarn in your colour of choice, that’s ok! Instructions are given below on how to change the number of repeats.
Needles
US 4 (3.5 mm) circular or straight needles
Finished measurements
80” long and 16.5” wide
Both written and charted instructions are included, and pattern has been tech edited and test knitted.
