I’m calling the pattern diamond mosaic. But, in some ways, it’s more of a leaf mosaic -- with cables forming the base of the leaves and lace for the rest.

This is my entry for the Capillary Action challenge for the March 2011 edition of Nerdwars (here on Ravelry).

I used a variegated yarn for the project, but a solid would work just as well.

uses: yo, k2tog, ssk, cdd (centered double decrease), and 4-st cables.
