Matrimonio Bolero
Scroll down the page for the English verison, complete with schematics.
I completed this pattern so it should be more understandable now.
This bolero is knitted from the one site to another. Starting from one sleeve to back part, and then second sleeve. Sleeves and back are knitted together in one piece.
It is pattern for experienced beginner in knitting and crocheting. You will meet following techniques in this pattern:
knitting: cast on, knit, purl, yarn over, decrease, increase and bind off
crocheting: single crochet, double crochet, slip stitch, chain
It isn’t included in written pattern but I recommend to make a slip stitch edge - on every row: Slip the first stitch purl-wise, work to the last stitch, knit the last stitch. This forms an attractive chain up the edge of your knitting.
You can find a written pattern as well as a chart for whole piece. You can pick which
one you prefer to work with.
