As we knit along together you will have options of where to place beads, or not. And the choice to make a sweetheart size or “hug-me” size. This shawl is great for whatever weight yarn makes you happy.

Suggestions for yarns: Xie (ultra fine 100grams/900 yards - bamboo yarn) = 2 strands held together, approx 75 grams from each cone & 450 glass 6/0 beads) = total weight is 150 grams)

Gauge: 1” = 5sts x 7 rows, size 3US Circular needles

Bliss (lace/fingering, 50grams/105 yards - wool/silk/cashmere blend yarn) total weight 340 grams - 7 balls are recommended

Gauge: 1” = 5sts x 6 rows, size 4US Circular needles
