Lace Mimosa is a repeatable lace pattern for a scarf/rectangular shawl, and can also be used for shrugs, bags, ponchos and everything made from rectangular fabric.

The pattern contains charted and written instructions for an item without and with beads.
And as you can see on the pictures there are also two slightly different versions, one with a dotted line in the diamond and one without.
All this makes Lace Mimosa very versatile - even extremely versatile as one of my dear testknitters said ;-)

Should you want to knit Lace Mimosa with beads, you’d need

number of vertical repeats x (number of repeats x 56 + 2) + (number of repeats x 2) beads.

Example: for a shawl with 2 repeats width and 5 vertical repeats you’ll need
5 x (2 x 56 + 2) + (2 x 2) beads = 5 x 114 + 4 beads = 574 beads.

Lace Mimosa has a repeat of 36 + 3 stitches and 72 + 2 rows which is rather large.
Therefore I list here the sizes of just one repeat as my dear testknitters knitted them:

DK - Short scarf/cowl
1 repeat = w: 26 cm/10.25” x h: 39 cm/15.4” w/ US 8 - 5.0 mm
1 x 2 repeats ~ 155 m/169 yd = 65 g

Sport - Poncho
1 repeat = w: 25 cm/9.8” x h: 27 cm/10.6” w/ US 4 - 3.5 mm
3 x 6 repeats ~ 1250 m/1367. yd = 500 g

Fingering - Shawl
1 repeat = w: 26 cm/10.25” x h: 23 cm/9”
2 x 6 repeats ~ 384 m/420 yd = 100 g

Fingering - Scarf
1 repeat = w: 15.25 cm/6” x h: 12 cm/4.75” w/ US 2 - 2.75 mm
2 x 8 repeats ~ 366 m/400 yd

Lace Mimosa ist ein wiederholbares Lace-Muster für einen Schal/ein rechteckiges Tuch und kann für Boleros, Taschen, Ponchos und alles, das aus rechteckigem Gewebe gemacht wird, verwendet werden.

Das Muster enthält Strickschriften (= Diagramme) und Textanleitungen für ein Stück ohne und mit Perlen.
Wie Du auf den Bildern sehen kannst gibt es auch zwei leicht unterschiedliche Versionen, eine mit einer Punktlinie im Diamanten und eine ohne.
All das macht Lace Mimosa sehr vielseitig - sogar extrem vielseitig, wie eine meiner lieben Teststrickerinnen sagte ;-)

Solltest Du Lace Mimosa mit Perlen stricken wollen, brauchst Du

Anzahl vertikaler MS x (Anzahl MS x 56 + 2) + (Anzahl MS x 2) Perlen.

Beispiel: für ein Tuch mit 2 MS Breite und 5 vertikalen MS brauchst Du
5 x (2 x 56 + 2) + (2 x 2) Perlen= 5 x 114 + 4 Perlen= 574 Perlen.
