This is a pattern for a square crochet motif (block), which can be used for a variety of projects such as summer blouses and tops, table runners and table clothes, lacy bed covers, etc.

I made these motifs with mercerized 100% cotton yarn (category 2) and a size D (3.25 MM) hook.

The finished size of my motif was 2 by 2 inches (after blocking).

You can use other yarn or thread for your project. The finished size of your motif will be different.
