Lace Sampler Scarf
This pattern is available as a
free Ravelry download
This scarf was created for a class for my lace guild to illustrate that many lovely lace patterns can be made from just yarnovers and 3 additional stitches (K2tog, SSK, and SK2P). I used DK weight yarn, but any weight yarn can be used with appropriate needles. Blocked, my scarf is 12” wide and 72” long.
This scarf uses 15 different lace patterns separated by 4 rows of reverse stockinette, but you can choose to use fewer or more patterns and arrange them however you prefer.
I have included as well the sample I created to practice the stitches and get used to working them.
