I designed this Lace Sampler Shawl for a beginner lace knitting class. It starts at the point and slowly increases to an asymmetrical triangle shape. The lace patterns are easy to knit, but still have enough interest and texture to create a beautiful wrap.

3 balls of Bernat Satin Sparkle was used to create this shawl.

1 ball of Lion Brand Shawl in a ball, or Shawl in a cake can also be used, using size 5 mm needles. The bottom photo is made with Shawl in a cake, Namaste Neutrals.

Stitch markers are used to keep track of where to start the lace patterns as the shawl increases.

Round needles are used because of the large number of stitches.
