Light cotton slippers for chilly summer days.
Worked in one piece, from toe/up.
Cute and simple shell-pattern.
Inspired by the simple shape of Espadrilles, handmade canvas shoes with rope-soles.
OPTIONAL:
Make your own Espadrilles, turn the slippers into shoes for street wear, join outsoles to the bottoms!

My yarn: MAFIL (Italian brand), Cablè 3 (crochet-thread # 3),
Worked with two strands (double yarn) for sturdy fabric.
50 g ball (1.8 oz), 140 m (152 yd).
WPI (Wrap per inch): 21.
Amount: 75-100 g (2-3.5 oz) depending on size.
Small amount contrast color for crochet balls and laces.
Crochet hook:
EU 4 mm (US G/6)
SIZES:
Small = US 3 - 5 / EU 35-37
Medium = US 6 - 8 / EU 38-40
Large = 9-11 / EU 41-42

Joining customized soles to the slipper bottoms, will extend the lifetime of your slippers, protect them against wear and tear and make them more comfy, warm and sturdy!
