Lace Socks

Method
Lace Socks are worked from the top down in the round using dpns. It starts with the ruffle at the top of the shaft  and is worked down towards the toe. After the ruffle, the shaft is worked in the round in pattern. The pattern continues down over the instep. Then the heel gusset is worked and the foot is worked with a pattern on the top and stockinette stitch on the bottom. Try the sock before finishing twith decreases for the toe. The beautiful ruffle edge at the start of the shaft and the knit stitches along the heel give the Lace Socks a beautiful finish.

Sizes
EU shoe size: 37 (38) 39 (40) 41

Size Guide
Lace Socks can be knitted in sizes 37 - 41. The stitch count in the circumference of the sock is the same, but the length is varied to adjust the size. Sizes below 37 and above 41 are not included, as the pattern repeat does not allow this. You can play around with changing the stitch count if you want a narrower or wider size. Always try the sock before knitting the toe.
