GAUGE
22 sts = 4 inches; 12 rows = 4 inches

GAUGE SWATCH
Ch 36.
Work foundation row; then work Rows 1–6 at least 2 times.

PATTERN NOTES
Top is worked side to side in one piece, then sides are seamed while working rows of lace mesh.
Pattern is written to include 2–4 inches of positive ease. Size medium will be a little larger than expected.
Work into back bar (see illustration) of foundation chain and chain at neck opening.
