Sizing
This is designed to fit over an ~25cm diameter spherical lampshade frame (I had an old lamp I didn’t like the look of and fit this over the old frame).
Alternatively- You could crochet this, and then shape it over a balloon by blowing up the balloon, soaking the lampshade in a mix of PVA glue/Mod Podge and then setting it over the balloon and waiting for it to dry. (Popping the balloon after and giving you a solid lampshade)
There is a custom pattern at the end for creating smaller/ bigger sizes.

Yarn
~ 150m Women’s Institute Premium Acrylic Yarn – White, for default size.
Or DK yarn of your choice.

Equipment
4mm crochet hook.
Optional: Small length of chicken wire
Optional (for use without a lamp frame): PVA Glue / Mod Podge
