Lace vintage curtain
A crochet curtain is a true embellishment, coziness and unique spirit of your home, and something the lady can be proud of, of course!
Following this pattern you will be able to make a curtain of the desired size. The curtain fabric consists of individual lace motifs, joined together in the process of crocheting, and diamond strips. The curtain on the photo is made with lace cotton yarn (230 m / 25 gr) but you can work with any 100% cotton, linen or any other yarn up to your taste.
In the pattern you can find a written row-by-row description of the motif. The diamond strip should be made following the chart without any written description. That is why you must be able to read the crochet charts.
In the photo you can see the curtain 112 cm (~1.22 yds) high and 272 cm (~2.72 yds) wide.
The curtain is made with lace cotton yarn “Snezhinka” measuring 230 m / 25 gr (2.5 yds/0.8 oz) witha 0.75 mm (metric) hook. It required 42 skeins of the yarn to obtain the specified size.
You can make a curtain of any size following this pattern. Its size will depend on the amount of repeats and yarn thickness.
To make the curtain look airy and light-weight, I would advise to use any fingering/lace yarn measuring 282-330 m / 50 gr (308-360 yds/1.76 oz) and crochet hook sized 1 mm (metric).
