Laceback Romper
Inspired by the popular laceback denim chambray shirts, this laceback romper brings this classic country chic look to even the littlest ones, but knit in a soft, flexible, cozy fabric. Perfect for a photography prop or for everyday wear, this little cap sleeve onesie is sure to be a favorite with its little collar and leafy lace pattern back and sleeves.
Each size is worked in a different weight of yarn with different needles and a different gauge:
Newborn: Fingering on 3.5 & 3.75mm (US 4 & 5) needles or size needed to get of 26 sts x 34 rows - Approx. 56m/61y main color and ,118m/129y lace color
3-6 months: Sport weight on 3.75 & 4mm (US 5 & 6) needles or size needed to get 25sts x 30 rows - Approx. 70m/75y main color and 130m/142y lace color
6-9 months: Sport/DK on 4 & 4.5mm (US 6 & 7) needles or size needed to get gauge of 22 sts x 28 rows - Approx. 75m/80y, main color and 190m/210y lace color
9-12 months: DK/Worsted on 4 & 4.5mm (US 6 & 7) needles or size needed to get gauge of 20 sts x 27 rows - Approx. 80m/88y, main color and 165m/ 180y main color
12-18 months :DK/Worsted on 4 & 4.5mm (US 6 & 7) needles or size needed to get gauge of 18 sts x26 rows - Approx. 83m/90y main color and 176m/192y lace color.
