This is a Hexigon shaped shawl inspired by stainglass windows with a victorian styled bee.

The center is knit first. Knit chart 1 flat and bind off. Then pick up stitches around center panel to work in the round away from the center panel. Each row of charts 2-5 are repeated 6 times before moving onto the next row.

Gauge is not too terribly important, but using the needles and yarn suggested should create a 59 inch point to point shawl. This pattern was designed for size us 2.5 needles (3mm) and alaca cloud lace weight yarn. The final weight used was 133g which required 3 skeins.

Placemarkers and lifelines are very useful for creating this pattern. Charted and written instructions are included with this pattern.
