The Lacey Bubbles Stitch is adapted from the Melon Stitch found in Jane Sowerby’s Victorian Lace Today, XRX Books, 2006, and she got it from Weldon’s Practical Knitter, 1890. I chose to make it into a reversible garter stitch pattern.
