This elegant lacey sleeveless top is great for spring, summer or fall. It is worked in Patons Silk Bamboo yarn and has a truly luxurious feel as it hugs the body. Seeming as though it is a second skin this top is sure to be the “go to” top in your wardrobe for the spring.

Silk Bamboo yarn does tend to stretch somewhat if you do not hand wash it and lay flat to dry. In this way it may not be the yarn you choose to use for this pattern but any dk yarn will work nicely. This particular yarn, however, does add the silky feel to the finished top and is sure to be adored by those that use it.

I have done one for my dil and she wears it as a vest over a long sleeved shirt in the cooler weather and as a sleeveless top in the warm weather. Truly a quick lace knit and if you can knit the basic lace stitches (yrn, yon) you can knit this design. And the lace edgings that are sewn on the armholes and the neckline are a simple lace pattern that just adds pizazz to the pattern.
