Lacuna Shawl
Lacuna, meaning interval, is a triangular shawl worked from the bottom up. The border lace is worked on one side and the main lace pattern is worked on both sides, but there are stocking stitch rows for a rest or interval. The green shawl pictured is worked in camel and silk lace which gives it a light yet luxurious feel.
Finished size 52 inches/132cm span and 27 inches/68.5cm deep.
YarnApprox 450yds/420m of laceweight yarn, approx 50g.
Gauge is not crucial to this pattern but please be aware that if you use a heavier weight yarn or different size needles, you will get a different size shawl.
Thanks to Joeli Caparco Joeli for tech editing.
