Yarn Requirements (from pattern): Approximately 1 ounce (23 grams) of very fine yarn at about 35 wraps/inch. Jean used a two-ply Merino/silk blend.
Commercial equivalent: Test knitted in Paternayan needlepoint yarn, no quantity given.
Note: This book was published by Interweave Press as the outcome of a sock design contest in Spin Off magazine, using handspun yarns. Commercial yarns equivalents are given for most patterns.
