A scarf with braided cables, combined with a lace pattern.

Lacy Braid Scarf can be made in many different types of yarn and the width will depend on yarn choice and gauge. You can use the material suggestions as inspiration and to estimate yarn consumption in your yarn.

Please note that the specified yarn quantities are indicative and it is recommended to weigh your work along the way as described, to ensure you have enough yarn.

The scarf is worked from tip to tip. First, a loop is made, from which stitches are increased for double knitting. Increases are made to shape the tip, while lace pattern and braided cables is established between the edges, which continues in double knitting.

You can choose to work according to the chart or description.

When the tip is shaped and the scarf has the full width, continue in braided cables and lace pattern, according to the chart until the desired length. Finally, decreases are made towards the other tip.
