This pattern consists of two pages of written instructions (English terminology) and photos including a close-up of the stitches used which are garter stitch (knit every row) and lattice stitch (knit 2 together, YO on right side and purl on wrong side).
The scarf is worked diagonally by increasing one stitch at the beginning of every right side row and decreasing at the end of every right side row.
Although I have given a suggested gauge, this is not crucial. I used my own handspun yarn with a weight of light DK to sport, but you can use any yarn of your choice of an equivalent weight.
I have given the size of the scarf I made, which is long enough to wrap around twice, but of course you can make yours to your desired length and you can alter the width by increasing or decreasing the number of stitches, as long as they are an even number.
