This is a pattern for a baby blanket or lacy afghan, crocheted in rounds and made with worsted weight (category 4, aran) yarn and size H/8 (5 mm) crochet hook.

The finished blanket measures approximately 34 by 34 inches. About 900 yards of yarn is needed for this size. I used 100% polyester yarn, but 100% acrylic yarn will work too. The specific yarn that I used is Feels Like Butta by Lion Brand (four skeins, 872 yards or 400 grams). You can easily make this blanket bigger, but you’ll need more yarn.
