This is a crochet only for a lacy, open stitch that can be used to make a crochet scarf, shawl, summer top, table runner or tablecloths, and lots of other crochet projects. You can also incorporate this stitch as a part of other project.

You can use the yarn and corresponding hook of your choice.

For the sample shown in the photos, I used 100% mercerized cotton thread size 10, and a hook size 1.6 mm.

The skill level is beginner. Only basic stitches are used here: chains, single crochets, and double crochets.
