February 2015 - Thanks to elenapollo for the Italian translation of this pattern!

The Japanese Feather pattern gently undulates up this blanket. Work with or without dividing borders. These instructions are for a square baby blanket but can be adapted easily for other sizes and yarn weights.

The Japanese Feather pattern is knit in multiples of 11 sts plus 1 to change the number of repetitions. The border adds an additional 12 stitches to the pattern. If you want a larger blanket with the border cast on multiples of 11 sts plus 2. Without the border remove all seed stitch references and cast on multiples of 11 sts plus 1.

This is my first shared pattern - please contact me through Ravelry (sarahsaurus56) with any comments, suggestions, errors, or if you need clarification and I will do my best to help!

Happy Knitting!
