Lacy Kerchief (two versions)
by Kathryn Gunn
These little eyelet-bordered kerchiefs are not just nice to knit and to wear, they’re a good introduction to knitting from charts and playing with a yarn you love. Any yarn at all could be used, but if you want a lacy effect, keep to lightweight yarns such as the two used here worked at a loose tension.
The finished size of your kerchief will depend on the yarn you use and how much you have, the needles you use and the tension you knit at. You could carry on until you have a shawl if you like.
