Lacy Kippah
This lightweight lacy kippah (“yarmulke” in Yiddish,) is a head covering option for the stylish Jewish woman. Using a smaller than recommended needle makes a firmer finished project.
Any smooth wool or wool blend yarn should make a nice kippah. Tweed and variegated yarns also knit up into a pretty design.
The pattern instructions call for blocking over a small bowl. This is highly recommended to curve the kippah into a head-hugging shape.
