Whether you knit this design using two colors as I did, or use just one color throughout, it’s a design that’s great for trying various lace-stitch patterns. Garter rows between each lace section not only serve to separate the pattern stitches, but they make the perfect spot to do any increasing or decreasing necessary to accommodate the next pattern stitch being used.
