You have the option to knit the cowl flat (like a scarf), and then seam the cast on edge to the bound off edge.
Or, you can knit the cowl seamlessly in the round.

Materials required include 1 skein of Tosh DK (225 yds DK weight yarn) and size 6 needles.
For the seamless version, you’ll need a 32” circular needle.
For the seamed version, you may use straight or circular needles.

Skills required include casting on, knitting, purling, yarn over (increase), slipping and passing a stitch over (decrease), and binding off.

Instructions are included for an easier way to begin the cowl (knit in the round version), without twisting your stitches.
