This lovely baby blanket is a piece for the intermediate knitter with basic crochet skills. The pattern looks like a lacy checkerboard with a scalloped edge around the blanket. I made it in a worsted cotton blend for a Summer baby gift.

This blanket is made by creating a patterned panel first and then working a crochet a border around it.
