This Lacy Shawl pattern uses rows of lace to create a delicate and intricate effect. When using a colour-changing yarn such as Rico Creative Cotton, you can get an impressive-looking result from this simple pattern! This beginner-friendly project is deceptively easy, and makes a great introduction to both lacework and shawls.

Gauge is not very important for this pattern. You will want to use needles larger than recommended for you yarn to achieve the lacy effect.

This shawl starts from the centre of the straight edge and works out in a V shape. You can make it as large as you like or finish it off early for a small triangular scarf.
