This crochet cowl is lacy and lightweight.

The shells add a vintage touch and flare out to create a dramatic look when wearing it.

The total circumference is around 24” at the narrowest part (the part that sits around your neck) and it flares out to around 33” at the bottom.

Skill level: Easy

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, foundation single crochet, single crochet, and double crochet

You will need:

  • about 250 metres/273 yards of sport weight yarn

  • a size I/9 (5.5mm) crochet hook

  • needle to sew in ends

  • a surface for blocking (optional)

  • an iron, pins, and a cotton towel for blocking (optional)
