Lacy Shell-edged Shawl
For your convenience, on purchase you will receive 2 separate PDFs - one with UK crochet terms, and one with US terms
This beautiful crochet shawl makes a welcome extra layer to grab when the days turn cooler. Worked from the top downwards, we start gently with simple trebles for the main section which grows quickly. There’s then a pleasing change of rhythm with the leaf pattern border, followed by a V and Fan edging to provide the final flourish. This is a great project for intermediate crocheters who are confident with basic stitches and seek to develop their skills, or for more experienced crocheters who crave a cosy and relaxed make.
One Size - Finished shawl measures 160cm(63in) along the top edge and 81cm (31¾ in) deep measured from the top centre to the bottom tip of shawl, after blocking.
Yarn - A light double knitting yarn with good drape such as Mirasol Sulka Nina: 60% Extrafine Merino, 20% Baby Alpaca, 20% Mulberry Silk (50g/150m/164yd).
I used 6 skeins, shown in Coral (shade 7113)
