This is an old favorite: it is both vintage and contemporary. It is easy to make and easy to wear. It is soft and feminine. My daughter has been wearing hers for over 12 years; and she has had numerous complements and many requests for me to make one. I have updated the pattern, and created a new leaf/ lace motif. It is made with beautiful Fingering yarn, or an Alpaca lace yarn, and the shrug cost less than 15 dollars to make. Any lace or fingering weight yarn can be used for this pattern. It can be worn in summer or spring, outside, over any outfit, to make the look elegant; or it can be worn in autumn and winter, inside to complete the attire. The pattern includes pictures and clear written instructions. Knit this up and watch it turn into a beautiful shoulder covering that you will find useful in so many occasions.
