Lacy Six Point Doily

Out of print. This pattern was available for free.

Please see errata below in the notes, plus the 3rd photo, & the last photo.

9/28/24 ~ UPDATE~ 9/28/24: Today I discovered that the two below listed websites appear to no longer be on the internet; and for sure one website isn’t available at the Internet Archive website either. Freepatterns.com has been excluded from the Internet Archive, probably by the owner of the freepatterns.com website. I didn’t check to see about the other website, but I believe they are both owned by the same company.

So, it looks like this pattern is once again not available as a free pattern on the internet. The only options to obtain a copy of the pattern would be to find/buy a copy of the February 1997 Crochet World Magazine, in which the pattern is in; or to find and buy a used copy of a DVD titled “Crochet World Collection 1991-2000”.

A final option might be to ask e-patterncentral if they could/would list the pattern on their website.

PS: The photo shown as me in the Crochet World magazine, along with my pattern, is not me. An accidental error was made by Crochet World.

Errata:

Round 7 has a typo.
In one place the instructions say “sc over sc between next 2 tr cls of Rnd 6”.
It should have said “sc over chain located between next 2 tr cls of Rnd 6”.
Please see photos on this Ravelry page.

Round 8:
Here is a clearer explanation of how to start round 8:

At the very end of round 7 it says to make a 3-dtr cluster in the first sc of the round and then turn.

After you turn at the end of round 7:

Then slst up (all along the side of) the “2-dtr-cluster” that was made just before the 3-dtr cluster was made (The goal is to get to the other end of that 2-dtr cluster),

And then sc over the unworked chain that’s located just after it.

Then, turn again and start Round 8.
Please see last photo on this Ravelry page.
