This hat is worked flat and sewn up afterwards. The brim is doubled over making it sturdy enough to support the slouchy lace. You can add some elastic into the brim if you would like more support and to make sure it doesn’t come out of shape.

The hat requires about 210m of 4ply yarn.

The unstretched width of the hat is 38cm, but will fit the average adult’s head of about 54cm.
