I wrote this halter pattern as a comfortable halter that would give me good coverage at the chest and stay in place while worn. This is the halter that I designed. The stitching across the chest is tight enough and you use a small enough hook that you will not need to wear a bra or pasties with this halter. The pattern includes instructions for 3 sizes, Small, Medium, and Large. The pattern is easy enough for beginnger-intermediate crocheters. I suggest using Caron Cotton Cakes, Lion Brand Comfy Cotton Blend, or Lion Brand Flikka for this top. The “home or kitchen cottons” are also ok to use also but do not have as nice of feel or drape as the others listed. I suggest using a cotton yarn or a cotton blend if it is for summer so it is cool to wear. Acrylic yarn can be too hot and will stretch out too much over time. Thank you for looking!
