A cute sweater for ladies designed in 2 styles. It can be made with basic stockinette stitch body and a leaf stitch body. and 3 border designs, Star Stitch, Seed Stitch or Garter Stitch. Mix and match the body design and border design to match your knitting style.
Having a Crew Neck makes it a warmer sweater than a V neck would keeping the sweater closer to the your chin. With the sweater being a raglan design the shoulder is not an important design factor. With no should seam, a person with wide shoulders can wear it just as easy as someone with narrow shoulders.
The gauge is set for a size 8 needle. However if you would like to use the next size up needle, it would work to, but the sweater will come out bigger. But, you will have to take into account adding length to match the new width of the larger needle.
You will need circular needles in two lengths, both 24” and 36” plus 2 stitch markers in one color and 4 stitch markers in another color and 6 to 9 buttons depending the the size of sweater being made. Or just a single button at the neck edge. And worsted weight yarn being sure to make sure dye lots match. If its Encore or Comfort it will be between 5 and 7 skeins.
