Pattern work is worked across the center 32 sts, but pattern is written to show all 40 sts for every row. Knit the first 4 sts and the last 4 sts of every row for a garter st side border.

Work 6 rows garter st in between each pattern as well. Each pattern starts with a RS row.

Patterns are all easy pattern work - it would be good for a beginner to learn different patterns.
