After so many requests for an adult size pattern featuring these cute sheep, I have designed this Hat and Fingerless Gloves Set

The knitting pattern calls for 8 ply yarn (DK) and the sheep are knitted using the Fair Isle/Stranded method There are large Charts to follow for the Sheep and the pattern contains instructions for making the PomPom and using the magic loop method of circular knitting.

Yarn
2 – 100 gram balls Stylecraft special DK Greengage (1124)
1 – 100 gram ball Stylecraft special DK White (1001)
1 – 100 gram ball Stylecraft special DK Black (1002)

Any Double Knitting (8 ply) yarn can be used so long as it gives the same tension as below and sufficient length of yarn is bought.

Knitting Needles
1 - 3.5 mm x 80 cm circular needle (US 4 x 32 inch)
The hat is knitted in the round
The gloves are knitted backward and forwards using the circular needle

Accessories
Stitch markers, sewing needle

Tension – 24 stitches and 32 rows to 10 cm (4 inches) over stocking stitch using - 3.5 mm needles (US 4)
