This pattern was written so I could learn the ‘basics’ of lace knitting. I believe that I’ve put the correct volume of Barbara Walkers books as my reference, but I could be wrong.
I also wanted to create something that could be completed relatively quickly, hence the use of chunky yarns and large needles.
The yarn that I used has since been discontinued, but I’m sure that there are substitutions available. I used about 3 hanks of the Noro yarn, and that constituted about 380 yards.
