You should know the basic stiches: chain stitch, single crochet, slip stitch, double crochet. All the other stitches used in the pattern are explained. Includes for example Extended single crochet> EXsc.

This pattern is written in standard American terms and includes Many photos of the process.

XS Bust> 30 1/2 - 32 1/2”/ 78-82cm, Waist> 23 - 24 1/2”/ 58-62cm, Hip> 34 - 35 1/2” / 86-90cm

S Bust> 32 1/2 - 34” / 82-86cm, Waist>24 1/2 - 27” / 62-68cm, Hip> 35 1/2 - 37” / 90-94cm

M Bust> 34 - 35 1/2” / 86-90cm, Waist> 27 - 29” / 68-74cm, Hip> 37 - 38 1/2” / 94-98cm

L Bust> 35 1/2 - 38” / 90-96cm, Waist> 29 - 31” / 74-80cm, Hip> 38 1/2 - 40” / 98-102cm

XL Bust> 36 - 40” / 96-102cm, Waist>31 - 33” / 80-84cm, Hip> 40 - 42” / 102-106cm

XXL Bust> 40 - 42” / 102-106cm, Waist>33 - 35” / 84-88cm, Hip> 42 - 43 1/2” / 106-110cm

Materials:
Color 1 (elastic yarn recommended)> 260(300,380,470,580,680) meters /
285(230,416,515,635,744) yds.
Color 2> 150(180,260,320,390,470) meters / 164(200,285,350,427,514) yds

Yarn weight is 3/ DK/light worsted for color 1 (elastic recommended) and 2. For color 2 also works fine/2/sport/light - 4ply/fingering weight yarn. The skirt in the pictures are made with Cascade Fixation (black/white skirt). Colorful skirt made with Alize Diva Stretch double stranded as color 1 and for color 2 I used DMC Natura just cotton and Katia Jaipur in turns (notice that if doubled, you’ll need double the meters/yds of yarn).

Other yarn suggestions for color 1 and 2> Kartopu Marmaris, Valeria di Roma Elastic, Rosas Crafts Stretch.
For color 2 also works fine/2/sport/light - 4ply/fingering weight yarn> for example Schachenmayr Catania, Milla Mia Naturally Soft Cotton, Cascade Ultra Pima, Yarns and Colors Must-Have, Regia Cotton Tutti Frutti. This skirt works best with elastic yarn as color 1. Color 2 can be elastic or non-elastic. Although, if you use non-stretchy yarn as color 1 (especially the ribbing for the waist), I recommend sewing elastic string around the waist (instructions on page 10), or crochet together with really fine elastic thread.

Crochet hook for the ribbing around the waist: 4mm/F-G/5-6. Hook for the hem 5mm/H/8. Check the gauge and use any hook!

Optional> Thin elastic string 1.20m-1.80m. When done with Cascade Fixation, I didn’t need to add any extra elasticity to the waist. But when wearing, it can keep the shape better for long time, if elastic is added.
