Colonial American Style for 12in doll. The author writes: Our model illustrates a typical costume worn in England around 1625 to 1635 and slightly later in America. Portraits of this period show sumptuous gowns of satins and silks, much lace and ribbon and often with long skirts trailing on the ground. Our version is a little more restrained for everyday wear.

Directions include the lady, waist-length underskirt, 3/4 length drawers, sleeved chemise, sleeves, burgundy overgrown skirt, overgrown bodice, sleeves, lace collar, hood, and shoes. AND Baby Mary Freake and her dress, apron, and collar!
