Lady Pearl was born with the desire to knit an adult size of my Little Pearl pattern. After knitting for so many kids, it’s about time I knit one for myself. Enough, is enough, it’s time to knit something for me!

This sweater is worked from the top down with minimal purling, and lots of wiggle room for creativity. The cap sleeves hug the shoulders, and the body has optional waist shaping, and optional color work. Yardage estimates are given for the plain/shaped version, and the stranded version, but know that the amount of yarn you will need for the stranded version will change if you use your own stranded design.

Sizing for this pattern leaves off where the “Little Pearl Vest” left off, so that those preteens and petite ladies aren’t left out.
Of course there are some additional, thoughtful changes from the child’s version, to accommodate an adult body.
