YARN: Microtamm. 1 cone main color and a few ounces of a contrast color for trim. If you substitute make sure to choose a truly colorfast yarn. Microtamm is very comfortable to wear and completely colorfast.
MACHINE: standard gauge at stitch size 9-10, Passap at stitch size 7-8, mid-gauge at stitch size 3-5, or bulky at stitch size 1-2. Once the gauge is achieved, use the same stitch size throughout the project.
GAUGE: 25 stitches and 35 rows over 4” after washing and drying
SIZES: finished chest : 22, 24, 26, 28, 30. Choose finished size about 2” larger than child’s actual measurement. Finished lengths: 21, 23.5, 27, 30, 32
