I wanted to design a fair isle baby hat, and I was already in love Cascade’s Fixation yarn. This is the yarn that has the elastic in it. This is such a great hat for babies because of the bright colors and the great stretch. After knitting up the fair isle design, sew beads on the ladybugs for their dots and antennae. I even up a ladybug button on the top of the hat.
