Nothing cuts through Canadian Rocky Mountain winters like a thick, cabled, wool toque. Named after Laggan, Alberta, which eventually was renamed Lake Louise, and is one of my favourite places on earth, this hat will keep any head warm in any weather.

US 8 / 5 mm circular
US 10 / 6 mm and double pointed needles (DPNs)
