Lahaina Crocheted Beanie
This simple hat with its brilliant colors memorializes the ancient town of LaHaina in Maui. It is made from the top down with Schoeppel Gradient, a lightly felted, long color run, worsted-weight wool. As written, the hat is about 19 inches at the brim, a woman’s large. For a smaller hat, use one size smaller hook; for a slightly bigger size, add an additional round of half-double crochet at outer edge of crown.
